Discharged
I could only sleep for a couple hours without waking in pain. The nurse would come check on me and get vitals. Around noon, they come in and tell me that it's time to be discharged. When they took my vital then, I was running a low fever, 99.3, and my heart rate was 50. Of course, that delayed my release time. I took some more pain pills and went back to sleep.
Around 4:30 the nurse came back, checked vitals again, all normal, so she brought me discharge papers. I was wheeled out of the hospital at around 4:45. I was so releived to be going home, and to smoke a cigarette. I think I smoked the whole drive back, although it made me alittle dizzy and nauseous. I didn't have dinner when I got to my mom's house for recovery. I tryed to get comfortable on the couch but it was too small for my massive leg brace and decided it was time for bed. I went to sleep around 8pm after taking 2 more pain pills and slept until about 3:30am.
When I woke, I used the bathroom (all by myself) and took more pain pills. I then went back to sleep and slept til about 10:30am. I got up then, felt good enough to eat alittle, so my dad made me some breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast...mmmm... so much better than hospital food. The pain is subsiding alittle also. I still can't move my own leg, but at least it's not intollerable pain.
