I'm back!

It's been a while, but I'm back to blogging again!

I've had this blog since, I don't know... 2010? And I sort of dropped off the radar on the dog blog front around 2012 when I started writing my first horror/zombie novel with my husband. I guess I was getting all of my writing out through that, and I forgot all about my dog blog. After finishing novel number two, and starting novel number three, I figured it was time to give it a go again.

I was looking through my old posts and I still fully stand by all of them, but I think it's time to start adding to them. So, I'm going to be doing more reviews, giving more doggy advice, and blogging in general. In addition to new posts, I have added some new pages, which can be found at the top of my blog. I've added my experience, services, prices, and more, and I've re-vamped the page completely. I even added my band's music to the welcome screen.

Dirty Derringer is my acoustic band with my husband. We play around Ada, Oklahoma on our down time. If you would like to keep up with our band, under the Soundcloud widget that's playing our music at the bottom, is our Facebook widget. We did an episode of The Paper Lantern Lounge with ECU in Ada and we would love for you to see it, along with their other episodes, including our friend's Rowdy Folk. Also, I mentioned a horror novel, didn't I. Well, it's a zom-poc novel and it's a series. We have written the first two in the series and now I am branching out and starting a novel all of my own entitled "Jukai," set in Japan. It's about strange occurrences of suicides, which are real by the way, so I thought I would take a shot at my thoughts on that. 1. Real name:  Tessa Dashawn House (Formerly Rollins)

2. Nickname: B (My husband and I call each other B. We were calling each other Baby in French.. Bebe... and it was shortened to just B.) Also, Tess. I used to be called Tweeter in Highschool. Not sure why, and I still have friends that call me that. It's been so long I guess no one knows anymore. I think it had something to do with singing like a bird? I don't know...

3. Zodiac Sign: Libra

4. Male or female: This is kind of a stupid question, but I'll humor you questionnaire. I'm a woman. A damn fine woman, at that.

5. Elementary School: Byng School.

6. High School: Byng School until senior year. Then for some reason I went to Ada after growing up at Byng and going there my whole life. I graduated from Ada. That's stupid. Why did I do that?

7. College: Penn Foster for dog grooming and training.

8. Hair color: Naturally blonde.

9. tall or short: Average. But my husband says I'm short. What does he know?

10. been depressed: Many times, but that's what I have an awesome hubby for.

11. Sweats or Jeans:  I'm sorry, but neither. I hate pants, and if it were up to me, I would never wear pants. EVER.

12. Phone or Camera: For what purpose? Pictures? Well, if I could afford a camera I would have one and use it as often as possible. I guess until then I'm stuck with my stupid phone.

13. Health freak: Ha! You're funny.

14. Orange or Apple: Comparing these is impossible. I choose Bananas. They're more erotic.

15. Do you have a crush on someone?: My sexy hubby.

16. Eat or Drink: Either eat OR drink? Is this what you're asking me? I'd rather do both at the same time, but if I have to choose one or the other, I'm going to choose food every time.

17. Piercings: I have six. Five in my ears and my nose.

18. Pepsi or Coke: Ahh, now that's a good question. I don't really have favorites... I have moods.

19. Been in an airplane: Once. I went to Las Vegas once and got hitched on accident. They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... but I ended up taking him home. Oops. I guess that's what lawyers are for. 

20. Been in a relationship: Um, I'm married. And I've been divorced and remarried. So, yes. I would say so.

21. Been in a car accident: Yes. I was street racing with a friend and she t-boned me. I have a scar above my left eye still from where I received stitches.

22. Been in a fist fight: Not with a woman.

23. First piercing: Ears.

24. First best friend: Lacy Davis. And we are still friends. Probably always will be.

25. First award: Award? Hmmm... Honestly I don't remember getting any awards before the age of 20. I must have been really bad at stuff.

26. First crush: How far back are we going? I think the furthest back I can remember is 4th grade. I had a huge crush on this guy named Cody Stark. He was blond haired and blue eyed and had a chilli-bowl. HOT.

27. First word: Ever? Umm, water maybe? But probably Mom.

28. What were you doing at midnight last night?: Playing Skyrim.

29. Last person you talked to in person: Well, I just talked to my hubby before he went to bed, and then Bryan (room-mate) and Lance (his man-friend).

31. Last person you watched a movie with: I watched 'Drinking Buddies' with B.

32. Last food you ate: Shells & Cheese. No bueno. Not the same as Mac 'n Cheese. Not at all...

37. Food: I love me some pizza. And cereal. I could eat those two things every day for the rest of my life.

39. Bottoms: My Walking Dead pj pants. I got them for B for xmas, but I stole them back. I actually don't think he's worn them one time.

41. Animal: Dogs of course! But owls and horses come in close second. Then any kind of marine mammal.

43. Movies: Oh man, there's so many. Let's just go off of the movies that I can watch over and over again. Even if I own them, they come on TV and I still watch them. I'd say Titanic is one of my all time faves. I watch it all the time. I could probably even quote it to you. Actually, I know I can. Others include The Shining, Look Who's Talking (all of them), For Richer or Poorer, Dawn of the Dead (2004), Avatar, Jaws, and Nightmare Before Xmas.
